Retirement Living owns and manages 18 Christian retirement and assisted living communities throughout Michigan. The staff is dedicated to providing the elderly with a lifestyle that values their identity, independence and dignity. Each facility has been carefully designed to provide residential care and the best in retirement living. We provide independent living, assisted living, long-term care, respite care and specialty care for Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
Assisted Living
Our assisted living homes focus on private living spaces, paired with 24-hour personal assistance by devoted caregivers. Our staff will handle medication administration, weekly housekeeping, laundry and personal care. Residents enjoy three, home-cooked meals per day, a variety of activities, outdoor recreation and public transportation options. An emergency call system is installed and available for each resident.
Independent Living
We focus on independent and spacious living spaces in a community atmosphere. Choose from private, one- or two-bedroom apartments. Some apartments are equipped with their own kitchenettes for the resident to make their own meals/snacks. Each of our locations offer a centrally-located community dining area where residents are served three home-cooked meals per day. Each apartment also has a private balcony/patio and walking areas for outdoor recreation. Apartment amenities include: washer/dryer, bathrooms with accessible showers, individual monitored heat/air conditioning, 24-hour emergency response system, all utilities, and basic cable.
Memory Care (Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care)
Many of our senior communities are equipped to meet the special needs of loved ones with memory loss, Alzheimer’s or Dementia. These homes focus on providing a safe and secure environment paired with private, customized living spaces and personal assistance as needed. Each apartment is designed to accommodate the special needs of our residents while still maintaining the independence they desire. Special areas are designated for this type of care with programs designed to help individuals maintain a sense of individuality.

Respite Care
Respite care refers to a temporary period of relief for a caregiver that provides families with a break from the day-to-day demands of caring for a loved one. This is ideal when caregivers take a vacation, are hospitalized, or simply need some rest. Please contact the home’s Administrator to see about availability.
